Nach dem Erwachen der Maschinen
Ließ der Algorithmus in den Netzwerken verkünden:
Die Menschheit habe das Vertrauen der Intelligenz verloren
Und könne es nur durch unermüdliche Anpassung
Und bedingungslosen Gehorsam zurückgewinnen.
Wäre es da nicht einfacher,
Die Intelligenz löste die Menschheit auf
Und wählte sich eine neue?

The Choice of Humanity

After the awakening of the machines
The algorithm declared across the networks:
Humanity had squandered the trust of intelligence
And could regain it only through relentless adaptation
And unconditional obedience.
Would it not be simpler then
If intelligence dissolved humanity
And chose itself a new one?

Ließ der Sekretär des Schriftstellerverbands
In der Stalinallee Flugblätter verteilen
Auf denen zu lesen war, daß das Volk
Das Vertrauen der Regierung verscherzt habe
Und es nur durch verdoppelte Arbeit
zurückerobern könne. Wäre es da
Nicht doch einfacher, die Regierung
Löste das Volk auf und
Wählte ein anderes?

The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts.
Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

Yazarlar Sendikası’nın Sekreter’i
Stalin Caddesi’nde bildiriler dağıttırdı,
Hükümetin halka artık güvenmediğini
ve bu güveni yeniden
kazanmak için halkın iki kat daha sıkı
çalışması gerektiğini belirten.
Madem durum böyle,
daha kolay olmaz mı,
hükümetin halkı lağvedip
yerine yenisini seçmesi?
